This is a permanent, full-time, daytime position working Monday to Friday, offering a salary ranging from £37,730 to £53,900 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, plus a car allowance.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for owning cluster-level performance governance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the Amazon account, providing independent insight, challenge, and assurance to the Cluster Director, while driving consistent performance measurement, delivering data-led insights, and enabling sustainable improvements in productivity, cost, and quality across the network.

Cluster Performance Governance & Control

  • Own and govern the cluster-wide performance framework, ensuring consistent KPI definitions, targets, and data integrity

  • Provide a consolidated view of performance across key metrics including safety, service, productivity, cost, and quality

  • Identify trends, risks, and inefficiencies, escalating key issues with clear impact analysis

Executive Performance Insight & Reporting

  • Translate operational data into clear, executive-level performance insights

  • Challenge performance outputs and recovery plans to ensure robust, measurable actions

  • Support business reviews and QBRs with accurate, forward-looking analysis

Continuous Improvement & Lean Deployment

  • Drive the CI agenda across the cluster, aligning initiatives to business and client priorities

  • Lead cross-site improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies

  • Ensure improvements are standardised, sustainable, and embedded into operations

  • Track and validate CI benefits, including ROI and performance impact

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations, ICQA, Systems, QA, and Reporting to align performance and execution

  • Ensure improvement plans reflect operational capability and client expectations

  • Act as a link between data, operations, and leadership to drive aligned action

Standards, Compliance & Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to operational standards, procedures, and client requirements

  • Conduct audits and reviews to monitor compliance and performance maturity

  • Embed Health & Safety within all improvement initiatives

Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead and develop Performance & CI teams across the cluster

  • Build capability in Lean, problem-solving, and data-driven decision making

  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Profile:

  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels across multiple sites

  • Proven operational background within warehousing/logistics; e-commerce experience advantageous

  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies

  • Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to simplify complex information

  • Highly organised with strong project management skills

  • Passionate about developing people and building high-performance cultures
