Tasks and responsibilities:
As Cluster Business Intelligence Manager, you drive data driven decision making within your cluster. You connect operational teams with the Central BI Hub, translate business needs into BI solutions, and lead a team of analysts and an analytics engineer.
You will play a central role in strengthening BI maturity, improving reporting, and ensuring that the cluster’s BI roadmap aligns with Bleckmann’s overall data strategy.
Strategic Alignment
Translate organisational and cluster goals into BI strategies
Define and own the BI roadmap within the region
Align BI initiatives with central BI strategy and architecture standards
BI Solution Development
Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that support operational decision-making
Implement BI solution architecture aligned with central standards
Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of BI projects
People Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop Business Analysts and an Analytics Engineer
Promote BI literacy across teams
Strengthen team engagement, development, and retention
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement improvements in BI processes and workflows
Reduce lead times and increase efficiency
Support optimisation initiatives across the region
Data Governance & Quality
Ensure adherence to data governance standards
Safeguard data quality and monitor compliance
Resolve data quality issues and prevent reoccurrence
Profile:
3-5 years of relevant experience in BI, data analysis, or operations
Proven leadership or coordination experience
Bachelor/Master level achieved through study or equivalent experience
Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
Experience with tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar BI platforms
Strong communication skills; able to make complex insights understandable
Stakeholder management experience across operational and central teams
Interest in process improvement, change management, and operational excellence
Flexibility to travel within the Northern Netherlands region
Excellent command of Dutch and English (written and verbal)
