This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Fridat, covering the hours of 08:00 - 16:00 and 16:00 - 00:00, rotating each 2 weeks, with flexibility required during peak periods. The role offers an annual salary of up to £27,670.50, depending on skills and experience, plus an additional shift allowance.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels within the Distribution Centre, ensuring efficient stock flow and high inventory integrity in line with operational and Health & Safety standards.
Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counting, stock checks, and discrepancy investigation
Carry out picking and stock movements using MHE (e.g. reach truck, counterbalance, pallet truck) when required
Investigate and resolve stock variances and process stock adjustments
Maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS
Work closely with operations to ensure the efficient movement and control of stock
Support continuous improvement in inventory processes
Ensure all activities meet Health & Safety and hygiene standards
Profile:
Experience in warehouse inventory / stock control
Competent in picking and stock handling using MHE
WMS experience essential; e‑commerce / 3PL preferred
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Good communicator and reliable team player
Health & Safety focused
