Tasks and responsibilities:
As Head of IT WMS Project Management, you are the driving force behind a successful team working on client implementations, automation projects, and IT change management in our warehouses. You will also take on projects yourself as an IT Project Manager, bringing structure, expertise, and leadership by example to an environment where time pressure and complexity are part of the daily routine.
- Lead the IT WMS Project Management team (6 FTE).
- Demand intake and priority management
- Aligning and resourcing business priorities.
- Implementation of new customers and services on our systems.
- Implementation of automation projects in warehouses.
- Continuous improvement and internal IT projects.
- Business change requests.
- Developing, improving, standardizing and safeguarding project management processes.
- Coaching and training team members in project management methodologies.
- Central role in stakeholder management with customers, operations and IT.
- Reporting on status, progress, risks and results.
Profile:
- A strong leader with vision, structure, and decisiveness.
- Someone who:
- Has a bachelor’s level of thinking and working.
- Has experience in leading a (partially remote) team.
- Has 5 years of experience in IT WMS project management.
- Has experience with logistics processes and WMS systems.
- Can think conceptually and can (help) translate theory into practical solutions.
- Masters project management methods.
- Is communicatively strong: clear, fair, and not afraid to set clear boundaries.
- Is stress-resistant and thrives in a challenging and dynamic environment.
- Is fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
- Is results-driven and leading by example.
