The ALDO Group emphasises strong relationship with Bleckmann by extending contract

22 October 2026

The ALDO Group has extended its logistics partnership with Bleckmann until July 2031, continuing a relationship established in 2016. Bleckmann provides integrated warehousing, transport, freight and customs services, with around 3.2 million items leaving its Enschede warehouse annually for distribution across international markets.

The ALDO Group, the Canadian footwear and accessories retailer, has extended its contract with Bleckmann, a specialist in supply chain management for fashion and lifestyle brands. The contract has been in place since July 2016 and has now been extended by five years, until July 2031, due to the strong partnership and stable operations.

Many years of stable and fruitful cooperation

The partnership has for years comprised the full range of services offered by Bleckmann: from transport to warehousing, customs and freight.
Due to their international reach and complexity, Bleckmann and the ALDO Group have built a highly integrated partnership, with daily interaction between the two companies, ensuring short lines of communication and rapid coordination in day-to-day operations.

“The partnership has been running smoothly and steadily for years, with a high level of mutual trust and a clear focus on working smarter and more efficiently. What characterises our partnership with the ALDO Group is the strong collaboration, with a clear focus on continuous improvement and cost savings,” says Rick Wijnberg, Bleckmann Cluster Manager Enschede.

The contract extension marks another chapter in a partnership spanning more than 10 years. Throughout this journey, the ALDO Group and Bleckmann have grown together, overcome challenges, and successfully navigated periods of transformation and disruption, building an increasingly strong partnership along the way.

Strong connections across Europe

Bleckmann is primarily responsible for European logistics and warehousing, but also exports the ALDO Group’s products to Morocco, Egypt, Angola, Albania, Turkey and Cyprus, as well as the United Kingdom. European countries such as Poland, Germany, France and Portugal are also important markets. Around 3.2 million items leave the warehouse in Enschede every year.

“The contract extension marks another chapter in a partnership spanning more than 10 years. Throughout this journey, the ALDO Group and Bleckmann have grown together, overcome challenges, and successfully navigated periods of transformation and disruption, building an increasingly strong partnership along the way,” says Daniel Goulet, Vice-President, International Distribution at the ALDO Group. “With this extension, we are emphasising our confidence in our strong partnership and wish to continue our operations on the same footing.”
