Job Vacancy: Management Trainee Transport
Recently graduated or already gained your first work experience? Start a career in logistics, project management, and data.
Have you just completed your Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and are you looking for a flying start in the world of transport, operations, and project management?
As a Management Trainee Transport, you will actively participate in various departments and projects within our transport operations. You will discover how our processes really work, collaborate closely with internal and external teams, and be given plenty of room to coordinate (sub-)projects yourself. Step by step, you will build a strong and broad foundation in logistics, data, and project management, giving your personal development a strong start.
What will you do?
During this program, you will rotate through different Transport departments, giving you a complete picture of our transport and supply chain operations. Your tasks will include, among others:
- Contributing to and supporting projects within Transport & Supply Chain
- Analyzing data and translating insights into concrete improvement actions
- Coordinating (sub-)projects with a focus on process improvement, both within Bleckmann and in collaboration with our carriers
- Working with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau
- Supporting operational teams and gathering input from stakeholders
- Developing delivery solutions for our customers in cooperation with carriers
- Managing our carriers, identifying and evaluating new delivery solutions
- Contributing ideas on continuous improvement and innovation, including optimizing Bleckmann’s internal transport operations
- Preparing improvement plans and supporting their implementation
Who are you?
This role is a perfect fit if you:
- Are (almost) finished with your Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Are analytical, curious, and eager to learn
- Are a flexible team player who can also work independently
- Have an interest in logistics, transport, and project management
- Take initiative and quickly assume responsibility
- Have an affinity with technology, data, AI, LLMs, and smart tools
- Have strong communication skills and a good command of the English language
- Hold a valid category B driving license
