Tasks and responsibilities:
As a Business Development Analyst, you will be working on price offers of our warehousing and customs products for new and existing clients. You are responsible for analyzing customer profiles, identifying missing information and handling the administrative processing of these tasks. Once a clear understanding of the customer profile is established, you collaborate with our warehouse engineering and warehouse operations teams to price a suitable solution.
The work will include collecting and analyzing the data needed to calculate price offers or make cost simulations for a range of optimal operational processes with the process flows and productivities appropriate to each. The simulations will require clear and concise presentation of the cost calculations and translate them into price proposals to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying trends and market demands and translating these into customer-oriented propositions;
- Analyzing market rates, for example, based on feedback on proposals;
- Presenting solutions to prospects;
- Conducting annual price indexation.
Profile:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business economics, econometrics, Operational Research, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Logistics or similar discipline;
- Work experience, preferably in a similar function or environment;
- Interested in the logistics of the supply chain;
- Able to translate business requirements into a commercial model;
- Proficient in MS Office with particular emphasis on Excel;
- Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Able to analyze large amounts of data quickly and accurately;
- Possessing leadership qualities and results driven;
- Hands on mentality and innovative;
- Communicative skills; you dare to say your opinion
- Able to work as both part of a team and on your own;
- Ambitious to develop further;
- Flexible, stress resistant and willing to work outside normal hours where required;
- In possession of a driving license and prepared to travel.
