About the job

As an IT Product Owner, you play a key role in shaping and driving the evolution of several business-critical applications. You act as the link between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into valuable digital solutions that contribute to long-term success.
You are responsible for defining product priorities, managing the product backlog, and guiding the development process to deliver sustainable and high-quality outcomes.
Your role
As an IT Product Owner, you own the product vision and backlog for a portfolio of applications. You collaborate closely with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical standards.
You balance functional requirements, technical improvements, and business priorities while maintaining a clear roadmap and ensuring continuous value delivery.
Your responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business needs
- Balance functional and non-functional requirements to maximize product value
- Contribute to the long-term roadmap and evolution of assigned products
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities
Backlog Management
- Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog
- Create well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria and testable scenarios
- Safeguard the logical structure and functional coherence of the solutions
- Ensure development efforts focus on delivering maximum business value
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact regarding product vision and roadmap
- Gather business feedback and translate requirements into actionable backlog items
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments
- Communicate progress, priorities, and business impact clearly and effectively
Scrum Team Collaboration
- Participate actively in Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Backlog Refinement sessions
- Provide business context and strategic direction to development teams
- Support decision-making and clarify requirements throughout the development lifecycle
- Help teams remain focused on achieving sprint goals and business outcomes
Quality & Acceptance
- Ensure delivered solutions meet agreed quality standards and Definition of Done
- Participate in testing, validation, and acceptance activities
- Monitor solution quality and user satisfaction
- Support continuous improvement of products and processes
Your profile
What you bring
- Experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or a similar bridging role between business and IT
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and technical sustainability
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to balance business priorities, technical requirements, and stakeholder expectations
- Experience collaborating with internal and/or external development teams
- Proven track record in managing business-driven and technical change requests
