This is a permanent, full-time, daytime position working Monday to Friday, offering a salary of up to £65,000 per annum plus car allowance.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Responsible for driving warehouse and logistics operational excellence across UK and Belgian sites supporting Gymshark, focusing on inbound, outbound, pick & pack, layout optimisation, labour planning, and automation, while delivering data-driven improvements to enhance productivity, cost, service, and quality; working closely with site leadership, stakeholders, and engineering teams to standardise processes, optimise material flow and workforce deployment, and ensure consistent, future-ready performance.
Lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across UK and Belgian warehouse operations, focusing on inbound, outbound, pick & pack, storage, and returns
Analyse end-to-end logistics processes to identify inefficiencies in layout, material flow, labour utilisation, and systems, and implement improvements
Design and embed standard operating procedures to improve productivity, quality, safety, cost efficiency, and service performance
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies to solve operational issues and drive sustainable improvements
Conduct industrial engineering activities, including time studies, work measurement, and capacity modelling, to develop labour standards and optimise productivity
Support labour planning and workforce optimisation using operational data, particularly during peak periods
Collaborate with site leadership, stakeholders, and engineering teams to scope and deliver improvement and automation projects
Support layout optimisation, slotting strategies, and material flow design based on data and operational requirements
Ensure effective implementation of improvements on the shop floor, including training, ownership, and performance tracking
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure performance and ensure delivery of sustained business benefits
Coach and develop operational teams in continuous improvement tools and best practices
Lead cross-functional and multi-site projects, managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder alignment
Drive innovation by staying current with logistics trends, automation, and industry best practice, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
Profile:
Proven experience in continuous improvement within warehouse or logistics environments
Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies
Solid understanding of industrial engineering (time studies, labour standards, capacity modelling)
Experience in labour planning, productivity analysis, and workforce optimisation, especially in peak periods
Knowledge of end-to-end warehouse processes (inbound, outbound, pick & pack, storage, returns)
Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
Experience collaborating with engineering teams on automation and process improvements
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and KPI interpretation skills
Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong coaching and team development capability
Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and on the shop floor
Commercially aware with focus on cost, service, quality, safety, and productivity
Up to date with logistics innovation and warehouse automation trends
Willingness to travel internationally (UK & Belgium)
English required; Dutch desirable
