Tasks and responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for the correct and efficient operation of the logistics processes, daily production, and all activities related to the physical flow of goods within the warehouse.

You take into account budgeted guidelines, productivity targets, and established SLAs. You continuously work on optimizing the translation of customer needs into the logistics operation. To achieve this, proper alignment and communication within different layers of the organization play a crucial role.

You provide daily operational leadership to the team of Supervisors and motivate them to work together towards the best result every day. You are strongly involved in achieving the Site and department goals and also make an important contribution to the implementation of HR and QEHS policies. In this role, you report to the Site Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient and smooth operations within the entire physical operation, adhering to budgeted guidelines.
  • Ensure optimal alignment between customer demands and available stock in the warehouse.
  • Lead and manage supervisors and oversee work activities within the department.
  • Supervise personnel to promote general order in and around the warehouse.
  • Coach and provide technical guidance to colleagues.
  • Foster collaboration within the Supervisor team to elevate both the team and the site to a higher level.
  • Monitor and enhance communication and cooperation within the site and with other sites/departments.
  • Contribute to the development and ensure the execution of the departmental plan.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement methodology.

Profile:

  • You have a higher vocational education (HBO) work/thinking level;
  • Good knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook;
  • Solid knowledge and proficiency in WMS (preferably PKMS)
  • You have at least 3 years of successful experience in a leadership role within (fashion) logistics;
  • You have an independent and flexible work attitude and are capable of making quick, creative, and effective decisions;
  • With your pragmatic approach, you are able to come up with creative, integrated logistics solutions;
  • You are driven, convincing, and capable of working independently;
  • You are stress-resistant and able to adapt quickly;
  • Good knowledge and proficiency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
  • You possess the following competencies: encouraging development; result orientation; promoting strategic change and innovation; inspiring and winning people over; understanding customers and markets; strong sense of business ethics.
